System Startups

Simplistic Irrigation offers a variety of startup options, depending on each individual's knowledge of his or her irrigation system. We offer simple backflow testing and result submission for those who know how to start up, adjust, and run their systems. We also offer full system checks for those who do not know how or prefer not to start up and adjust their systems. If you are interested in learning how to do this yourself, that can be arranged during a full system startup.

Winterization

During the winterization process, an air compressor is used to force water out of the irrigation system. This is done to prevent the water from freezing, expanding, and thus damaging the irrigation system during the winter. The system is run through twice, ensuring that each zone and the main line are emptied, as well as each sprinkler head and the backflow prevention device. It is important that you know how many zones your system has, in order to ensure that this process is complete.

Installation

Installations can include designing a system, adding a zone(s) to an existing system, or installing a full new system. All installation projects will be priced differently, as each yard or area needing coverage will require different parts and time. We are happy to meet with you to discuss your needs and give you a general quote. Simplistic Irrigation is not set up to do full system installations, but partners with a trusted landscape company to help with the process. We do meet with you beforehand to discuss your needs and design the system, and we will be onsite during the installation to ensure that the work is done properly. We also work with the homeowner afterwards to ensure that things are continuing to run smoothly, as we want our customers to remain customers for life. If ever in doubt, ask!

Other Services

Other services that we offer aim to cover whatever your irrigation needs might be. We can troubleshoot issues with your irrigation system and do small or large repairs. If you are going to have work done to your yard that might interfere with a current irrigation system, we can come out beforehand to take a look and give you options. We will also work with other contractors to make sure the best course of action is taken to prevent more damage to your system than needed. As with installations, the other services we provide will vary from job to job and are priced individually.
